Facing a growing drone threat in Lebanon, the IDF has formed seven special teams to improve detection, interception, battlefield tactics and force protection.

• The effort aims to close gaps as Hezbollah continues using drones and explosive UAVs against troops and military vehicles.

• During a meeting with the UN envoy to Lebanon, Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that Israel will not accept a ceasefire alongside continued attacks on IDF forces or northern communities.

• Katz said Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem is “playing with fire,” warning that continued aggression could bring severe consequences for Hezbollah and Lebanon.
