The now deleted post had said that the Iranian officials would be arriving in Pakistan “despite skepticism”.
“Despite skepticism of Iranian public opinion due to repeated ceasefire violations by Israeli regime to sabotage the diplomatic initiative, invited by Hon. PM Shehbaz Sharif, Iranian delegation arrives tonight in Islamabad for serious talks based on 10 points proposed by Iran,” Moghadam had written in a post earlier.
The move comes as there has been a violation of ceasefire in West Asia as Israel continued to strike Lebanon, while also firing missiles towards Iran.

While there is no other official statement from the authorities, the move hints at Iran’s displeasure over the continued ceasefire violations.
The talks will be held in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad on Friday, April 10.
United States would be represented by Vice President JD Vance, and Iranian foreign minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi is likely to represent his country. However, the participation of the latter is not confirmed.
The talks come after a ceasefire was agreed upon April 8 between the US and Iran with mediation of Pakistan.
According to the ceasefire, Iran was mandated to reopen the Strait of Hormuz immediately, while the discussions would be held on Tehran’s 10-point proposal, and America’s 15-point proposal.
