In a decisive move to consolidate grassroots engagement and ensure effective coordination ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial direct primaries in Lagos State, the campaign organization of Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran JANDOR has approved the constitution of a 2,690-member committee across the state.

The committee, strategically structured to reflect the political architecture of Lagos state, draws its membership from all 245 political wards and the 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs).

The 2,690-man committee consisted of 10 representatives selected from each of the 245 wards, 10 representatives drawn from each of the 20 LGAs and 40 at the state level.

Each 10-member unit at both ward and local government levels comprises of designated agents of the gubernatorial aspirant, media and communications personnels, security coordinators, grassroots mobilizers and canvassers.

This structure is designed to ensure operational efficiency, message consistency, and robust voter engagement across all strata of the party. The committee is mandated to coordinate ward-level mobilization and stakeholder engagement, drive voter education and participation in the direct primary process, ensure compliance with party guidelines and electoral protocols, and serve as the first line of communication between the campaign and grassroots party members.

This initiative underscores JANDOR’s commitment to a participatory, transparent, and inclusive political process, aligned with the principles of internal democracy as upheld by the APC. The campaign remains confident that this expansive and well-coordinated grassroots structure will significantly enhance party cohesion and position the aspirant for a credible and successful outing in the forthcoming primaries.
