Suspected Fulani Herders attack Kogi community, kill 3

Tension has gripped Ochipu, an Igala-dominated community in Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State, following a deadly attack by armed men suspected to be Fulani herders.

The incident reportedly claimed the lives of at least three residents, leaving the community in fear and uncertainty.

According to reports, the attackers stormed the area and unleashed violence that triggered panic among locals, forcing many residents to flee for safety.

“Fulani herders attacked Ochipu, an Igala-dominated community in Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State,” a resident said.

A disturbing video obtained by SaharaReporters shows three victims of the attack lying on the ground with visible cuts and blood stains, while grieving relatives are heard wailing in the background.
