Manchester City have become the first team to book a place in the semi-finals of this season’s FA Cup after a dominant 4-0 victory over Liverpool on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola’s side took control early, with Erling Haaland opening the scoring from the penalty spot after Nico O’Reilly was fouled in the box. Haaland then doubled the lead with a header before halftime.
Antoine Semenyo added a third shortly after the break, finishing off a well-worked team move, before Haaland completed his hat-trick to seal an emphatic win.
In other quarter-final fixtures, Arsenal travel to face Southampton, while Chelsea host Port Vale later today.
