The Northern Youth Progressive Network (NYPN) has commended Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited for its exceptional leadership, social cooperate responsibilities and operational excellence, and sustained commitment to safeguarding Nigeria’s critical oil and gas infrastructure, an indispensable pillar of the nation’s economy.

The group said through its transparent, innovative, and technology-driven surveillance framework rooted in its results orientated pedigree.

In a press statement signed by its members, Shuaibu Mohammed, National Coordinator, Comrade Sunday Lawee, North West Coordinator, Mallam Garba Yahaya Mohammed, North East Coordinator, Amb. Haruna Yaqub and North Central Coordinator, Musa Moses said Tantita has recorded unprecedented milestones in the last three years as guardians of crude oil and gas assets in the Niger Delta. Notably, Nigeria’s crude oil production has risen approximately from a dismally low 400 thousand barrels per day to about 1.8 million barrels per day, a quantum leap that has repositioned the country from being the third-largest oil producer in Africa to reclaiming its status as the leading oil-producing nation on the continent.

They said this achievement underscores Tantita’s strategic impact on national economic recovery and stability.

They said beyond production gains, Tantita’s operations have restored investor confidence, enhanced stakeholder inclusivity, and significantly increased government revenue.

They also said the company has also played a pivotal role in reducing oil spills across mangroves, creeks, and waterways thereby improving aquatic ecosystems and sustaining the livelihoods of local fishermen. Furthermore, its efforts have contributed to curbing kidnapping, sea piracy, and other maritime crimes in the Niger Delta.

“Importantly, Tantita has empowered over 40,000 Nigerian youths through direct and indirect employment, while actively engaging host communities and traditional institutions as subcontractors. Its corporate social responsibility initiatives continue to positively impact lives across the region.
