The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has announced that eligible applicants can now print their examination invitation cards for the ongoing police constable recruitment exercise.
The written examination has been scheduled to hold from 28 to 30 April 2026 across designated centres in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. The exercise covers applicants seeking enlistment as Police Constables under both General Duty and Specialist categories.
Only candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening stage are qualified to participate.
Required Items on Examination Day:
- A pen
- National Identification Number (NIN) slip issued by the National Identity Management Commission, with a clear photograph
- Printed examination invitation card
- Dress code: white shorts, white T-shirt, and white canvas
The Commission emphasised that the recruitment process is free of charge and warned against job racketeering, scams, or any form of financial inducement.
