Sowore Reveals Category Of People He Can Never Fight

Omoyele Sowore

Former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has said his involvement in the matter concerning BLord and VeryDarkMan has ended following recent developments in the bail process.

NOP NIGERIA reports that he made this known while speaking to journalists, explaining that he steps into issues only when he believes someone is facing injustice, and leaves once the situation changes.

According to him, his role in such matters is to defend people under pressure or being treated unfairly, and once that condition no longer exists, he moves on to other concerns that need attention.

Sowore also spoke about his personal stance on conflicts, saying there are certain people he would never confront. He explained that anyone he has once stood up for in the fight for freedom and rights falls into that group, adding that he would not turn against such individuals even if disagreements arise.

He went on to restate his long-held view on activism, noting that his focus has always been on helping others gain their freedom, even at personal cost. He said his commitment to that cause remains strong and that the goal is to see more people stand up and continue the work.

He said: “My role ends here and my role ends whenever somebody who I judge or is a judge to be undergoing oppression no longer suffer oppression. And I’ll move on to my next issue which all of you always know and I know you want to ask questions, I know you want to fight.

“There are some people I can never fight. And the categories of people I can never fight are people who I have always fought for to enjoy liberty, to enjoy the rights to apply their trade. I can’t go back and fight such a person even if the person fights me to tomorrow.”
