The Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Cohort 2 programme is currently in its documentation and enrollment phase at various training centers, as training is set to commence in the second week of May 2026.

Nigeria Startup News understands that registration is currently ongoing across multiple training centres, following the matching of candidates by the Federal Ministry of Education.

At Techwin Solutions Limited, one of the participating centres, over 200 trainees have already been onboarded. The centre confirmed that documentation, registration, and enrollment processes are officially ongoing for the new cohort.

According to the training provider, the intake reflects strong interest from young Nigerians seeking practical, skill-based opportunities. The trainees are expected to undergo between six and twelve months of intensive, hands-on technical training across various trades.

“We’ve officially kicked off the registration, documentation, and enrollment for the TVET Cohort 2 programme. It was a privilege to welcome over 200 students recently matched to our centre by the Federal Ministry of Education,” the centre stated.

The programme forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen technical capacity and improve workforce readiness across the country. All beneficiaries will be paid N22,500 monthly stipend as long as they participate in the training, and complete their biometric verification for each month.

With documentation now in progress, attention is on the second week of May 2026, when full training activities are expected to begin nationwide.
