The need to build a nationwide network of informed citizens who not only understand ongoing reforms of the Tinubu administration but also contribute meaningfully to their communities was the major reason for the establishment of the Renewed Hope Alive Movement (RHAM) reports thegazellenews.com
The Convener and National Coordinator of the group, Prince Kayode Tejuoso disclosed this on Tuesday, 7 April, 2026 during a press conference to unveil the official logo of the group in Lagos.
“Through awareness, engagement and advocacy, RHAM seeks to inspire a ripple effect of positive action across all levels of society,” he said.
According to him, RHAM was established to correct often distorted information about government activities and policies. “We will play a critical role by providing clarity through verified data and fact-based narratives and by bridging the gap between government reforms and public understanding. Through these, we will help citizens make informed decisions and actively participate in nation-building,” Prince Tejuoso said.
Therefore according to him, “RHAM is committed to delivering accurate, timely and accessible information about national development, prioritize transparency, credibility and consistency in all our communications, thereby ensuring that Nigerians trust the narratives shaping public discourse”.
Speaking on some policies of the present government, Prince Tejuoso commanded President Tinubu for the just approved N3.1 trillion to pay debt owed Gencos describing the move as a step in the right direction.
On the modus operandi of RHAM, Tejuoso disclosed that the group already have 36 coordinators in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) spreading the correct information about the policies of government and its actions.
He also stated local government coordinators and ward captains would soon be inaugurated for all the local governments and wards throughout the country.
“We also ensure that we get to the grassroots by conducting our programmes in local languages,” he said.
On how the group will influence government’s decision and policies to benefit the people, Prince Tejuoso said, “We will develop the group into a pressure group where we will interact with various MDAs to ensure that government policies are accurately implemented to generally benefit the people and the purpose they were meant for”.
Speaking while unveiling the group’s logo, the Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) who was the guest of honour at the event, Dr Kayode Opeifa, commended the group Convener and members for taking it upon themselves to spread correct narratives about government activities and policies.
According to him, there have been several negative but incorrect narratives about government activities and policies being fed to the Nigerian public.
“I’m happy that you are taking this initiative to correct this and I want to commend Prince Tejuoso and his team for this wonderful initiative,” he said.
Director of Corporate Services of the South West Development Commission (SWDC), Princess Adefunmilayo Tejuoso who unveiled the slogan of the group commended the brain behind the group for a job well done.
“This is a very commendable step and it will go a long way in engendering positive public perception about government’s policies and decisions,” she said.
All is now set for the public presentation of the group across all geo-political zones of the country.
