Nigerian music star Wizkid has weighed in on the ongoing fallout between his longtime associate DJ Tunez and fellow artist Burna Boy, delivering a sharp jibe that has further intensified tensions.

The reaction came hours after Burna Boy mocked DJ Tunez, also known as Ogbafia, following their altercation at Obi’s House, a popular exclusive hangout in Lagos, where a verbal dispute escalated into a physical confrontation.

In a post on his official account on the social media platform X on Tuesday, Wizkid took a swipe at Burna Boy without mentioning his name but alluding to his relationship with convicted American music executive Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

In the post, he wrote:
“P** nigga Jump a dj with 10man carry diddy towel Dey dance. I never see fool like this diddy babe for my life,” he wrote, adding laughter emojis.

Burna Boy had earlier posted a video dancing to ‘Money Constant,’ altering the lyrics to “Ogbafia dey for ground”—a move many saw as ridiculing the DJ after their clash.

The Nigerian DJ Association has since announced a temporary ban on Burna Boy’s music pending an investigation.

The development has continued to generate reactions within the entertainment industry and among fans, as tensions surrounding the incident remain a major talking point in Nigeria’s music scene.
