The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), with the backing of Seyi Makinde, has appointed Kabiru Tanimu Turaki as chairman of its interim National Working Committee (NWC).
Turaki emerged as head of the 13-member interim NWC on Monday during the party’s 103rd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja.
The decision comes amid the lingering leadership crisis within the PDP following recent legal and internal disputes that have unsettled the party’s national structure.
