The Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other winners of the primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general election,
In a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday by his spokesman, Tersoo Kula, he said the victory is well-deserved
Alia stated that their emergence is a reflection of the confidence reposed in them by party faithful and stakeholders.
Governor Alia particularly appreciated the National Working Committee of the APC led by Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, for providing the needed purposeful leadership, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere, and organising transparent and successful primaries across the federation.
He emphasised that the smooth conduct of the exercise clearly demonstrated the growing strength, internal democracy, and unity within the APC family.
He expressed confidence that the APC will continue to wax stronger and remain committed to delivering purposeful leadership, good governance, and sustainable development to Nigerians.
He wished all the party’s candidates success as they prepare for the 2027 general election.
