APC Reps primaries: Obasa, Buhari’s son Win tickets as 14 Aspirants Disqualified

The All Progressives Congress held its House of Representatives primaries across 360 federal constituencies on Saturday. Prominent winners include Lagos Assembly Speaker Mudashiru Obasa (Agege, unopposed), Yusuf Buhari (son of former President Buhari), who polled 5,849 votes in Katsina, House Speaker Tajudeen Abbas (unopposed in Zaria), and Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu (unopposed in Bende). However, the party disqualified 14 aspirants, including four serving Rep members. Violence and protests erupted in Kaduna, Adamawa, and Benue states over alleged irregularities and hijacked election materials.
