“As A Father, I Understand The Pain”- Lateef Adedimeji Raises Alarm Over Oyo Kidnapping, Demands Quick Action

Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has reacted to the abduction of schoolchildren in Oyo State, expressing deep concern over the incident.

In a post shared on his Twitter page, the actor noted that many families marked Children’s Day in sorrow, as their children remain in the custody of kidnappers in unknown locations.

He added that, as a father, he fully understands the pain such a situation brings, while questioning the effectiveness of authorities and their repeated assurances.

Lateef called on those in charge to ensure the safe return of the abducted children, urging them to act swiftly and demonstrate true compassion and responsibility.

His words…

“Before you sleep tonight, remember many families celebrated Children’s Day in pain, because their children are held up by kidnappers in places no one knows.

This is our reality. As a father, I know what this means. I’m asking our authorities, is this what you promised us? Are you able to celebrate Children’s Day with some of the children in pain? I’m just asking ni o.

You know what to do. Do it and get the kids back home. It’s the only honourable thing to do. Prove you have humanity in you. Do it. Do it now!”
