Man who challenged CS Wandayi says he is scared
Speaking after going viral, Kaunda noted that he is a law-abiding citizen who respects the rule of law.
He said he did not expect his remarks to spread widely online and explained that he was only representing his people for a good cause.
However, the outspoken official revealed that he did not sleep after receiving numerous phone calls claiming that some institutions had branded him an embarrassment.
“I didn’t sleep. Some institutions are calling my members to tell them that I am a disgrace and that I caused embarrassment. I want to tell them that we are here for one cause. What we are fighting for is not just a matatu issue; it is a Kenyan issue because all of us are affected,” he stated.
Kaunda further admitted that he was scared, but said he had no intention of hiding from anyone.
