Sani made the statement in a video shared on the official X account of Trust TV, where he spoke about the political future of the former president and the need for experienced leadership in Nigeria.
According to Umar Sani, Jonathan has already obtained the PDP presidential nomination form and is expected to publicly submit it soon. The PDP chieftain described the former president as the type of leader Nigerians currently need, citing his experience and national acceptance.
Speaking in the video, Sani said, “Jonathan has bought our nomination form, in fact he is about to come and submit it publicly. The fact of the matter is that we believe Jonathan is the right choice at this moment. Most Nigerians know him and most Nigerians have heard from him.”
