Paris Saint-Germain have retained the Champions League trophy they won last year, after they beat Arsenal on penalties.
The Gunners were beaten 4-3 after a tense 1-1 draw in 120 minutes.
The newly-crowned Premier League winners were looking for their first Champions League title 20 years on from their last final appearance, while PSG were aiming to defend the title they won last summer.
Kai Havertz powered home inside six minutes. Marquinhos’ attempted clearance hit Martin Odegaard from close range, before landing into the path of the striker.
PSG needed a penalty to level after a sloppy foul from Cristhian Mosquera on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Ousmane Dembele fired home a beautiful strike from the spot.
The game then went to the lottery of penalties. Eberechi Eze missed the Gunners’ second, but that was matched by a brilliant save from David Raya on the next spot-kick to keep out Mendes.
