Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has written an appreciation post to her husband, Pastor Blessed.
Amid criticisms over her performance at Alex Ekubo’s Service of Songs, Chinwo, via her Instagram page, shared new photos of herself and her man, expressing how God has been so good to them.
She appreciated her husband for being an amazing husband and a constant blessing. She said she loves, honours, and celebrates him.
“God has been so good to me, and one of the clearest expressions of His goodness is you. Thank you for being an amazing husband and a constant blessing. I love, honour and celebrate you, sweet, my guy and Gee @theofficialblessed”.
A month ago, Chinwo had celebrated her husband’s birthday with a sweet message. She described him as her answered prayers, saying loving him was one of the greatest gifts of her life. She appreciated him for being an incredible father, for believing in her, praying for her, and standing beside her through every season.
While counting down to his 40th birthday, Pastor Blessed lavished sweet words on Mercy, expressing gratitude to God for the gift of his wife, who has stood beside him. He said with Mercy, his life found a new dimension, one marked by increase, favour, and undeniable evidence of God’s hand.
In one of her past birthday messages to him, Mercy had spoken highly of her husband. She praised him for being a man of character and integrity. Expressing how blessed and honored she is to do life with him, Mercy described her spouse as a special gift from God.
In 2023, she had celebrated her husband after he bagged an honorary doctorate, from Myles Leadership University. Chinwo congratulated him on his huge achievement.
Mercy Chinwo and Pastor Blessed tied the knot in a star-studded wedding on August 12th and 13th, 2022, at Mercy’s hometown in Port Harcourt. Celebrities like Banky W, Adesua Etomi, Waje, Chigurl, Joe Praiz, and others.
Last year, in August, the couple had celebrated their third wedding anniversary. Mercy stated that it had been three years of love, grace, countless memories, and God’s purpose guiding them. The award-winning singer said God’s hand is in every chapter of their lives and cheered them on to many more years.
That same August, the couple welcomed their second child, a baby girl. Sharing maternity photos, she stated that their hearts overflowed with gratitude and appreciated the public’s outpour of love, prayers, and wishes.
