The incident, which has sparked widespread discussion online, is said to have occurred when the husband of a woman involved in the alleged affair unexpectedly returned home. In an attempt to escape, the fitness coach allegedly tried to climb out through a window or balcony of the apartment. He reportedly lost his grip and fell from the building, dying instantly upon impact.
Short video clips shared across Chinese social media platforms, including Weibo and Douyin, show a man suspended outside a building before falling. The footage has since gone viral internationally, prompting intense debate and speculation about the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
Some online reports have identified the deceased as a fitness influencer known by the nickname “Huang Mao,” though this identification has not been officially confirmed by authorities.
However, conflicting accounts have emerged.
