Donald Trump is set to undergo yet another medical examination as concerns over his health mount, amid persistent rumours that he “wears adult nappies”. The US President is due to visit doctors at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on May 26, which the White House has described as a routine annual physical and standard preventive care.

However, this will be Mr Trump’s fourth publicly announced medical assessment since returning to office. Last April, just months after resuming the presidency, he underwent what was presented as his yearly physical. The nearly five-hour evaluation, carried out by the President’s White House physician, Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella, included laboratory tests and cognitive assessments.

Mr Trump’s health check encompassed blood work, a cardiac evaluation and ultrasound imaging. Mr Barbabella concluded that the President was in “excellent cognitive and physical health”.

He said: “President Trump remains in excellent health, exhibiting robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function.”

After his appearance in a 60 Minutes interview following the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, eagle-eyed social media users noticed something rather unusual.

“Trump, sitting during his 60 Minutes interview shows not only how morbidly obese he has become, but that he wears a very thick adult diaper,” singer Bill Madden posted on X alongside a picture from the president’s interview.

The photograph appeared to show a noticeable bulge at the rear of Mr Trump’s suit.

This comes from unverified rumours spread by Noel Casler, who worked on Celebrity Apprentice across six series and claims that Mr Trump wears adult nappies.

He told MediasTouch in 2020: “He’s worn diapers since probably the 90s, but I saw it first-hand in the 2000s on The Celebrity Apprentice in the late 2000s and we’ve have to stop the show and change him.”
