The Environment and Safety Management Institute (ESMI), a leading professional body focused on Environment, Health, Safety and Management training in Nigeria, has announced a nationwide recruitment exercise for 110 Centre Managers across the country.
According to the institute, the recruitment is part of efforts to strengthen its training operations, expand professional development programmes, and improve coordination of activities across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The organisation said successful applicants will serve as key coordinators of ESMI programmes within their various senatorial districts.
ESMI stated that the Centre Managers will play important roles in overseeing training activities, mobilising participants for professional certifications, supporting institutional growth, and representing the institute at the district level. The institute added that the recruitment is aimed at building a stronger network of professionals who can help drive safety awareness, environmental sustainability, and human capacity development in Nigeria.
According to details released by the institute, selected candidates will coordinate and supervise training programmes in their assigned districts while ensuring effective implementation and participant engagement. They will also help organise membership drives, support reporting activities, and serve as representatives of the institute within their communities.
Applicants must possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate programmes and manage teams effectively. ESMI also noted that individuals who are passionate about professional development, education, safety, environmental management, and related sectors are encouraged to apply.
In addition, candidates with backgrounds in administration, education, environment, health and safety, or related fields will have an added advantage during the selection process.
ESMI described the opportunity as a pathway for professionals who want to contribute to national development while building leadership experience and expanding their professional network. The institute also highlighted several benefits attached to the role, including training and certification opportunities, leadership experience, career growth, recognition, and rewards.
The institute reaffirmed its mission of developing professionals, promoting safety, and protecting the future through quality training and certification programmes across Nigeria.
Interested applicants are required to send their applications and detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) to the official recruitment email: [email protected].
