A renowned activist-turned-politician Omoyele Sowore has declared his intention to contest the 2027 presidential election, insisting that Nigeria needs a complete break from the ideas and leadership style of the country’s established political class.
Sowore, who was the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress in the 2023 general election, made the declaration during an appearance on Channels TV’s Politics Today.
“I plan to contest the 2027 presidency. We have our primaries next week,” Sowore declared....... .
