Popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has opened up about her current approach to worship, revealing why she no longer attends church services physically.
In a video shared on her Snapchat page that has since gone viral, the actress was seen at home preparing breakfast for her children while also getting them ready for church.
In the video, Funke Akindele said, “I am making breakfast for the kids getting ready for church. Please don’t be annoyed I am not going to church. Anytime I go to church, it’s me they focus on to take pictures of, so I will join online. Cheerful Sunday.”
Her comments have since sparked reactions on social media, with many fans expressing understanding over the challenges celebrities face in public spaces, including places of worship.
