The disturbing clip has sparked emotional reactions among relatives and residents back home, with the family now making an urgent public appeal for help to verify the claims and bring him home safely.

“We have suffered for many years without knowing whether he was alive or dead,” one relative reportedly said.

She added that seeing the video has brought back hope, but also deep pain. All they now want are answers and for him to come home.

The family says they spent years searching for information about Peter’s whereabouts, but every lead went cold.

Over time, they were left clinging to memories and prayers as the uncertainty weighed heavily on them.

The emergence of the video has now renewed hope that Peter may still be alive despite the long silence.

Relatives are appealing to the government, human rights organisations, and well-wishers to help investigate the claims surrounding the footage and establish Peter’s condition and exact location.

Meanwhile, questions remain over how Peter may have ended up in Congo and the circumstances under which the video was recorded.

Back in Gatundu South, the story has stirred emotions among villagers, many of whom remember Peter before his disappearance nearly a decade ago.
