The House of Representatives primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was successfully held yesterday across the 10 wards in Ikeja Federal Constituency. The consensus candidate and performing incumbent Member of the House of Representatives, James Abiodun Faleke, emerged victorious unopposed.

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda, popularly known as AKOD, did not only participate actively in the electoral process but also coordinated the exercise to ensure a free, fair, credible, and peaceful primary election across Ikeja.



Speaking after the successful conduct of the primaries, Comrade Dauda congratulated Hon. Dr James Abiodun Faleke on his overwhelming victory, stating that the outcome of the exercise did not come as a surprise considering the remarkable leadership, quality representation, and developmental strides of the lawmaker across Ikeja Federal Constituency.

Comrade Dauda further appreciated party leaders, stakeholders, and members of the APC across Ikeja for once again demonstrating loyalty and support for the party by overwhelmingly backing Rt. Hon. Faleke at the primary election. He urged all party faithful to remain steadfast, united, and committed to the progress of the APC ahead of the general elections, emphasizing that greater achievements lie ahead for Ikeja and its people.

Notable personalities and party stalwarts who were present to ensure the success of the primary election included the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State, Tayo Ayinde; Babatunde Ogala SAN; Chief Oyemade, the Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, Moyosore Adebanjo; councillors, supervisors, special advisers across Ikeja Federal Constituency, and several other party leaders and stakeholders.
