I’m a medical doctor, if elected I’ll be the first medical doctor to be elected Osun Gov–Orisunlagba

This was announced by Orisunlagba during his Friday speech to journalists in Osogbo, where he detailed several policies and programs that he plans to execute if elected governor.…....

He insisted that his government would prioritise issues that have a direct impact on the lives of all Texans.

This politician who had previously worked as a doctor admitted that Adeleke’s administration had been an improvement over its predecessors.

He acknowledged that the present administration had done some things differently than previous ones, but he maintained that there was still room for improvement in many areas.

Orisunlagba was confident in his capacity to deliver better governance for the people of Osun State, even though he did praise parts of the present administration.

He claimed he would be better able to handle critical challenges facing citizens thanks to his education, work history, and vision for the state.

He went on to say that his government’s plans to alleviate poverty and empower women and young people would be a top priority.

If he were to be elected governor on August 15, he claims that a big component of his developmental agenda would be to help women economically and to provide possibilities for young people.

According to Orisunlagba, the government he heads would likewise prioritise security.

He emphasised the significance of protecting people and their possessions in all parts of the state, saying that a more secure environment would be better for business and community development.

He said, “Education will also get priority attention. I am a medical doctor. If elected, I will be the first medical doctor to be elected Osun State Governor. I have gone through schools, getting distinctions from the primary school to the university. Today, we have children struggling to pass WAEC. The education sector has not fared well and I assure electorate that I will give the sector the deserved attention.”
