Iran has condemned what it described as violations by the United States following strikes on the southern port city of Bandar Abbas, vowing to defend its sovereignty.
The position was made known in a statement issued on Thursday by the spokesman of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Esmaeil Baqaei.
Baqaei said Iran would take all necessary measures to protect its national sovereignty, while also condemning what he described as threatening rhetoric by US officials against Iran and several countries in the region....... .
