Alan Chambers, 54, sent explicit messages and tried to arrange a meetup via Snapchat and Telegram with an undercover officer posing as a teen.
Officers said they prevented a potential harm to a child. Chambers was arrested on May 18 and faces charges related to trying to meet a minor for sex.
During the investigation, he allegedly sent photos showing his torso and genitals, and expressed a desire to meet for sex, even asking for an Uber to his work.
Chambers also discussed “forbidden love” and concern about their age difference.
He admitted to communicating with a 14-year-old on Snapchat and currently lives with his wife and two children in Winter Park, Florida.
He has been charged with solicitation of a minor via computer, transmission of harmful material to minors, and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
Released on a $15,000 bond, he is barred from contact with anyone under 18 and limited to online activity for work only.
