“Rivers State Is Being Controlled”- Verydarkman Blasts Political Structure After APC Primary

Social media commentator VeryDarkMan has voiced strong concerns following the emergence of Kingsley Chinda as the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary in Rivers State.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, the activist revisited allegations he previously made in 2024 involving Chinda and former Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike over a controversial land allocation in Abuja. According to him, the incident raised concerns about the use of political power and influence.

VeryDarkMan claimed that the disputed property was initially owned by private individuals before it was allegedly taken over and reassigned. He alleged that the land, said to be in a valuable location, could later be sold for a huge profit.

He argued that the political process in Rivers State appears to be controlled by powerful figures working behind the scenes to maintain influence over the state’s leadership.

“This is the same Kingsley Chinda I talked about in 2024 regarding the Abuja land matter,” he said. “The land was allegedly taken from the original owners who had documents and later allocated to him because of how valuable the area could become in the future.”

The activist also alleged that former governor Wike fell out with the current Rivers State governor, Siminalayi Fubara, because Fubara allegedly refused to operate under external influence, which contributed to the political crisis in the state.

VeryDarkMan further criticized President Bola Tinubu, blaming his administration for the country’s current political and governance challenges.

His comments have since generated widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians debating the allegations, the APC primary election, and the ongoing political situation in Rivers State.
