It is the 40th birthday of Amara Kanu, the wife of former professional footballer Kanu Nwankwo.
Taking to her Instagram page, the wellness coach shared some breathtaking photos of herself in a cream-coloured dress. Showing off her ageless beauty, Amara expressed gratitude to her Maker for her new age milestone.

On his wife’s birthday years ago, Kanu lavished admiration on her, appreciating everything she had done for the family.
On Kanu’s 46th birthday, she penned a sweet birthday note to him, lavishing him with sweet words. She described him as the rarest amongst men and expressed how blessed she was to have him and to share life’s journey with him.
Amara married the former Arsenal player in 2004, when she was just 18, and the two have since become closest friends.
The wife of the former Super Eagles player advised ladies against getting breast implants. Amara made ladies know that breast implants might make them look good, but their side effects on health can be disastrous. She also confessed to toying with the idea of getting her boobs done.
In other news, Amara called out Laura Ikeji’s husband, Ogbonna, over a Leeds game ticket, claiming he hijacked it from her son and sabotaged her family.
Laura did well to stay out of the situation, which seemed to have Kanu and Amara unfollowing each other on Instagram.
Despite being sisters-in-law, Amara and Laura have never related to each other publicly, on social media or as far as we know, privately. As far back as 2017, when Laura welcomed her son, Amara neither congratulated her nor acknowledged the delivery.
While speaking about her relationship with her sister-in-law, Laura admitted that they aren’t friends.
When a fan compared Laura to Amara and degraded her, Laura responded, letting the fan know that neither Amara nor the fan can come close to her achievements, even if they worked hard for 10 years.
