Earlier, the Kauran Katsina and District Head of Rimi, Alhaji Nuhu Aminu Abdulkadir, formally presented the newly appointed district heads to the emir for the turbaning rites.
In his remarks, the emir expressed appreciation for the unprecedented turnout, describing the occasion as the largest gathering witnessed in his reign.
“In the history of my reign in Katsina, we have not witnessed a gathering of this nature. I could not have imagined that this event would attract such a remarkable crowd and level of participation,” the emir said.
The emir further called on the people to uphold Islamic teachings, stressing the importance of faith, discipline, and strong moral values in building a peaceful society.
“We must avoid envy and jealousy among ourselves. Instead, we should promote love, understanding, and mutual respect,” he added.
