Mike Dada Celebrates Late Wife’s Post-humous Golden Birthday: My Modupe, Today, You Would Have Turned 50,

IMG 20260505 WA0225

When I had the conversation with you exactly 2 years ago on how you would like to celebrate your 50th birthday to enable me plan and execute it excellently well as a way of expressing my gratitude to you again, little did I know that it would be your second posthumous birthday. God knows best.

This is your second birthday in heaven, and yet, in my heart, time has not learned how to move on without you in spite of the numerous advise and counsel from therapists, pastors, coaches, friends, family members and associates.

I remember your laughter, your good nature, kindness, faithfulness, quiet but unshakable compassion and genuine love that never asked for recognition and applaud. You were light in its purest form—steady, warm, and life-giving. To know you was to experience unconditional affection in motion, grace in human form.

You were a loving, loyal and dependable wife, peaceful partner, selfless mother and destiny accelerator. You had everything, yet humble and respectful to a fault.

Fifty would have looked so good on you with that effortless beauty that came not just from your looks and smile, but from your spirit. You would have celebrated surrounded by love—because you gave so much of it, so freely, so genuinely to people regardless of their socioeconomic status.

But even in your absence, your presence remains.
It lives in every memory that refuses to fade,in my thoughts daily. Your light has not dimmed—it continues to shine in ways words cannot fully capture.

There are days the weight of missing you feels unbearably overwhelming. Days when I wish I could hear you call just one more time, see your face, hold your hand.

And then there are days I find strength in knowing that love like ours does not end—it only changes form.

So today, as heaven celebrates you, Serere, Olorire and I will celebrate you too—not just for the years you lived, but for the impact and love you left behind. A love that continues to guide, to comfort, and to remind me that what we shared is eternal.

Happy 50th birthday,my love.
You are missed deeply beyond words, endlessly cherished beyond measure, and loved beyond time.
