According to the ward results shared by Ossai Ovie Success, Okowa polled 4,462 votes while Ned Nwoko received just 3 votes. The outcome was described as a strong show of support for Okowa within the party.
APC is currently conducting its senatorial primaries across the country, with indications that some sitting senators may struggle to secure re-election tickets.
This is coming months after Ned Nwoko’s relationship with actress Regina Daniels, who they both have children together went south.
As expected, Ned Nwoko inability to return to the Senate come 2027 for a second time sparked widespread reactions online.
