Nigerian billionaire businessman and socialite Obi Cubana has reportedly removed all content related to the City Boy Movement from his Instagram page, though no official explanation has been offered for the move.
The development comes amid growing public criticism directed at Obi Cubana over his visible support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
He had been appointed as the South-East Coordinator of the pro-Tinubu organization, a role that drew significant backlash from ordinary Nigerians.
As of the time of this report, he had yet to issue any statement addressing the deletion of the posts.
According to information circulating online, the City Boy Movement is a youth-oriented political and civic engagement platform established to promote President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The group was created with the aim of building grassroots support, empowering young Nigerians, and closing the gap between the government and local communities.
Among its reported activities are campus tours, rallies, and outreach programmes involving the distribution of cash grants and relief materials to vulnerable households across the country.
