Governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his victory at the APC presidential primary, describing it as a strong endorsement of the President’s leadership and reforms.
In a statement issued by the Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, the Governor said the outcome reflected the confidence of party members and Nigerians in President Tinubu’s administration.
Governor Ododo said Kogi State would firmly support the President’s reelection bid, describing it as a “personal project” for the people of the state because of the Federal Government’s support for Kogi’s development.
He cited key federal approvals, including plans for an airport, a Free Trade Zone, and an Agricultural Processing Zone, as major projects capable of boosting the state’s economy.
The Governor also commended President Tinubu for pursuing bold economic reforms and for participating in the democratic process despite being the APC National Leader.
He assured the President of the continued support of the government and people of Kogi State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
