According to the X user, the reunion event has already attracted millions of naira in donations from former students.
She revealed that the minimum contribution for the reunion was set at ₦100,000, while more than 10 people had reportedly donated ₦500,000 each toward the event.
The user further disclosed that one anonymous contributor donated ₦2 million, while the group administrator allegedly instructed members to post evidence of their payment receipts in the group chat.
Explaining why her friend quietly left the reunion group, the X user wrote:
“My friend’s secondary school reunion is next month. Contribution range is ₦100k to ₦1M and admin said everyone should share payment receipts after paying. 😭 Over 10 people already paid ₦500k each.
One person even sent ₦2M and said he wanted to remain anonymous. 😂 The least amount paid so far is ₦100k. My friend quietly left the group immediately.
She said, “So make I go drop receipt of ₦10k make una see me finish?” 😭😂😂😂 I don laugh tire 😂😂😂.”
