Over 45 Pupils Abducted as Terrorists Attack three schools in Oyo

No fewer than 45 pupils were abducted during a Friday attack on three schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State. The terrorists, speaking Yoruba, Hausa and Pidgin English, arrived on six motorcycles, each carrying two masked men dressed in camouflage. They also abducted several teachers, killed a motorcyclist, and stole three motorcycles. Security operatives have surrounded escape routes in the nearby forest reserve and arrested three suspects. Rescue operations are ongoing.
