He maintained that the pledge reflects the political direction of the state and the level of support enjoyed by the President among residents.
The governor made the statement while speaking with journalists shortly after taking part in the presidential primary election held at his political ward in Kafin Hausa Local Government Area.
He said the exercise provided an opportunity to gauge the mood of party supporters and measure their readiness ahead of future electoral contests.
Namadi explained that the large turnout recorded during the primary election demonstrated the confidence party members and residents of the state have in President Tinubu’s leadership.
According to him, the participation level seen during the exercise showed widespread support for the President within Jigawa State.
He stated that the presence of supporters at the venue was evidence of the President’s popularity among the people, adding that the level of mobilisation witnessed during the process reflected strong backing for Tinubu.
The governor pointed to the turnout as an indication of where the loyalty of many party members lies ahead of the next election cycle.
The governor further noted that the outcome of the presidential primary election would serve as a message to opposition parties, stressing that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is positioning itself for victory across different levels in the 2027 general election.
He suggested that the results of the exercise indicated growing momentum for the ruling party.
Namadi also praised APC members and residents of Jigawa State for demonstrating discipline, orderliness, and integrity throughout the conduct of the primary election.
He acknowledged their behaviour from the commencement of the exercise to its completion and encouraged them to sustain the same spirit moving forward.
He urged party members to return to their various communities and begin preparations for the forthcoming 2027 general election.
He said, “As you can see, the people have lined up en masses for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while nobody is on the side of his opponents. This is a testimony to how popular the President is in the minds of the people of Jigawa.”
