The Secretary of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), Chief Mutiu Are has been appointed to chair the Local Organising Committee for the forthcoming All Progressives Congress primary elections in Lagos State, reports thegazellenews.com
Thegazellenews.com reports further that the Special Adviser to the Governor on Works, Engineer (Dr) Olayinka Adekunle was appointed the Secretary of the LOC.
The committee composition members were contained in a list exclusively obtained by thegazellenews.com on Saturday, 9 May, 2026.
Chief Mutiu Are and Engr. Olayinka Adekunle will oversee administrative coordination and operational activities of the committee.
Sub-committee members were also named.
Members of the Planning and Strategy sub-Committee are: Hon. Oyinlomo Danmole, Mr. Jide Adams, Hon. Abayomi Oluyomi, Barr. Folashade Bakare, Alhaji Olugbenga Nollah, Hon. Jumoke Okoya-Thomas, Hon. Toyin Suarau and Hon. Segun Ogunlewe.
Similarly, the Contacts and Mobilisation sub-Committee comprises Engr. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Chief Sunday Aboyade, Chief (Mrs.) Olayinka Olusanya, Hon. Fatai Akinderu, Chief Abayomi Daramola, Hon. J.S. Babatunde, Hon. Olugbenga Abdullahi, Kazeem Kayode Eleshin and Hon. Fatai Ayoola.
Furthermore, the Media and Publicity sub-Committee has Hon. Jide Adams, Mr. Balogun Yomi, Barr. (Mrs.) Ayo Olugbenro and Hon. Haffez Odunewu, as members.
In the same vein, the Security sub-Committee features Hon. Ajibade Taiwo Oyekan, Dr. Adeola Jokomba, Mr. Bayo Sanwo-Olu and Hon. Kamorudeen Adegoke Ajape as members.
Likewise, the Special Duties sub-Committee consists of Dr. Lateef Ibirogba, Hon. Damilola Senayon-James, Hon. Akeem Muniru and Mr. Mukhtar Tijani.
