Monique Pearls, Abuja-based TikTok creator known for her emotional motherhood and family content, has reportedly passed away at the age of 30.
The content creator, whose real name was Monica Okafor Owuunaka, built a loyal audience with videos about motherhood, family life and her bond with young Precious, a girl brought from the village who became a familiar face in her content.
Known for her emotional and relatable storytelling, Monique’s videos resonated with many Nigerians as she documented the realities, joys and challenges of family life.
Her family confirmed her passing in May 2026. No official cause of death has been disclosed. She is survived by her husband and young son, Lael.
