Street-hop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola (Portable), has alleged foul play following his defeat to skit maker, Carter Efe, in a celebrity boxing bout held in Lagos.

The fight, tagged Chaos in the Ring 4, took place in the early hours of Saturday at the Balmoral Hall of Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, where Carter Efe secured a unanimous decision victory after all three judges scored the contest 30–27 in his favour.

Reacting shortly after the bout via an Instagram live session, Portable rejected the outcome, alleging that the match was manipulated and unfairly judged.

“I was robbed. They did ‘ojoro’ for me,” he said, insisting that several of his punches were ignored by officials while accusing his opponent of using illegal tactics, including excessive clinching.

The controversial singer also demanded payment of about N200 million, which he claimed was due to him from the event’s streaming proceeds, warning organisers to settle the sum promptly.

Despite his protest, Portable downplayed the significance of the loss, stating that personal milestones outweighed the outcome in the ring.

“My wife just gave birth to a baby boy. That is more important than any belt,” he said, adding that material rewards such as titles could be replaced, unlike family.

The defeat marks Portable’s first loss in celebrity boxing, ending a previously unbeaten run that saw him record victories over Nollywood actor, Charles Okocha, in 2023, and entertainer, Speed Darlington, in 2025.

Ahead of the bout, Portable had expressed confidence in extending his winning streak, boasting that he would claim a third title.

However, Carter Efe capitalised on his height and reach advantage during the three-round contest, landing cleaner punches and controlling the pace of the fight.

Saturday’s result further cements Carter Efe’s growing profile in celebrity boxing, while Portable’s reaction is likely to fuel debates over officiating standards in Nigeria’s emerging entertainment-driven fight scene.
