If you need more proof of how famous Regina Daniels is, then her Children’s Day carnival in Asaba is all you need.
Kemi Filani reported a week ago that the movie star had announced the return of her yearly Children’s Day carnival in Asaba, Delta State.
A day ago, she had blessed the internet with behind-the-scenes clips from the preparations. In the video she shared on her Instagram page, the movie star was seen at home, serenaded by her mother, brother Sammy, and women who were singing her praises. The video captured the grand preparations for the event, including the butchering of a cow, boiling and frying the meat, and much more.

On Wednesday, May 27th, which was International Children’s Day, Asaba stood still for the actress as people came out in large numbers to celebrate with her.
The likes of TikToker Jarvis, Mercy Johnson and her kids, Late Junior Pope’s wife, and more were present.
Last year, Daniels was overwhelmed after being serenaded by fans on the streets of Abuja. The light-skinned actress and her mother were on the street buying food when her fans bombarded her. Narrating the incident, Daniels described it as a sweet moment.
On her birthday, two years ago, Regina had broken down in tears as her workers serenaded her. She stated that on special days like her birthday, she was reminded of the love that surrounded her, as she noted how she had a full army of love and expressed how much she loves them.
Following the birthday celebration, Regina, while appreciating her inner circles, expressed how lucky she was to have good people around her, even if they’re fake, she appreciated them.
After her marriage to Ned Nwoko, Regina had the opportunity to meet with top dignitaries and be treated with more respect.
In an Instagram post, Regina shared a video of her meeting with the Chief Executive of the popular airline Airpeace as she took a first-class flight to London on their plane. The movie star received VIP treatment on board and gushed over the experience.
Last year, Daniels, alongside her then-husband, Ned Nwoko, and their sons, stormed Ghana for the inauguration of John Dramani Mahama as president. Taking to her Instagram page, Regina shared photos from the inauguration, where she was captured posing with the new President alongside her husband.
In 2024, Regina was left star-struck after meeting former First Lady Patience Jonathan, who visited her home. Regina expressed how delighted she was having her as her admiration for Patience was immeasurable and hearing her speak was inspiring. She further revealed that she was left star-struck by her visit.
Also, in 2024, she had accompanied her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko to meet with the British High Commissioner. Regina shared photos from the event as she revealed that they honored the invitation of the British High Commissioner to celebrate the King of England, King Charles’ birthday.
