Twitter troll who wished death on Adekunle Gold’s daughter sentenced to 2 years imprisonment

Nigerian Twitter troll, Samuel Ademoye Adeyeye, better known as Swanky, has been sentenced to two years’ imprisonment after wishing death on singer, Adekunle Gold’s daughter, Deja.

Kemi Filani reported that the Twitter user had spread long misinformation with malicious intent about Adekunle Gold and Simi’s daughter.

In a viral tweet, he claimed that the music couple had lost their daughter at age 6 to a rare disease called Canavan disease.

“Adekunle Gold just lost his daughter Deja at a tender age of 6. Reports have it that she lost her life to a rare disease called Canavan disease. May her perfect, gentle soul rest in peace”.

Following his malicious tweet, he was taken to court and pleaded guilty to spreading misinformation about the couple’s daughter.

Reports claim that the court found him guilty after he admitted to his deeds, leading to his conviction and sentencing.

The Twitter user alleged that Ayra Starr and her mom were into porn, Don Jazzy is the father of Tiwa’s son, Adedeji Adeleke is to be deported for fraud, Olamide is gay with Lyta, Bimbo Ademoye lost her women to several abortions and many more.

A few weeks ago, BBNaija Venita Akpofure had vowed to take action against an X user who accused her of hopping from one man to another. She told the tweep to produce the men she is hopping to with supporting evidence. Venita added that she should get money ready for bail and for defamation and slander.

Actress Eniola Badmus had addressed accusations of being a pimp to top politicians. An X user claimed that she gained entry into the political scene through this network, and many young girls had been exploited and used for different purposes by politicians through her connections.

Reacting to it, Eniola promised to involve the authorities. She made it clear she isn’t the forgiving type.

Addressing the reports in his Instagram story, Paul stated they were false.

The movie star, who didn’t take her allegation slightly had taken her to court for defamation. Ego was arraigned to court and has been sentenced to two years imprisonment by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.
