US-Iran War LIVE Updates: Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi at the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in New Delhi on Friday made it clear that Iran is seeking peace and stability but it stands ready to protect its sovereignty. He also urged the BRICS nation to condemn the US and Israel’s attacks on Iran.

US-Iran War LIVE Updates: As the war and the subsequent talks move towards the completion of three months since the beginning of the conflict, the stalemate continues. As per the recent development, Iran has said that it will soon reveal a plan for the management of navigation of traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.

Donald Trump, in his response, said Iran will have a bad time if they don’t budge for a peace deal.

Israel and Lebanon have decided to extend ceasefire, which has been in place since April, by 45 days and conduct new talks on a political settlement. However, tensions have intensified across West Asia as fighting continues between Israel and Hezbollah.

Meanwhile, Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said the instability in West Asia continued to threaten maritime trade and global energy supplies via the Strait of Hormuz. He encouraged dialogue and called for uninterrupted shipping routes.
