Passengers aboard a Korean Air flight experienced tense moments at Narita International Airport after the aircraft was forced to abort landing due to strong crosswinds and turbulence during its final approach.

Viral videos circulating on social media showed the aircraft wobbling violently just metres above the runway as powerful winds destabilised the jet moments before touchdown. The plane appeared to sway sharply from side to side before pilots regained control and executed a dramatic go-around manoeuvre, pulling the aircraft back into the air at the last second.

The incident occurred amid difficult weather conditions around Tokyo, with strong crosswinds making landing operations challenging. Social media users praised the flight crew for their handling of the situation, calling the manoeuvre a potentially life-saving decision that prevented a dangerous landing attempt.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported, and the aircraft later landed safely after the aborted approach.
