Former Governor of Jigawa State and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Alhaji Sule Lamido, has issued a blunt assessment of the worsening insecurity in Northern Nigeria, blaming it on what he described as poor leadership and deep moral decay within society.
Lamido made the remarks during a media interview on Wednesday, where he said the North must stop shifting responsibility and begin confronting its internal failures if lasting peace is to be achieved.
