Fresh details have emerged surrounding the dramatic courtroom fallout in Justice Crack’s case, as Victorious Chisom has now shared his side of what allegedly led to Barrister Marshall angrily withdrawing the bail application in court.
According to Chisom, the legal team and supporters of Justice Crack were unable to reach Barrister Marshall for updates regarding the bail application he had filed, despite several attempts to contact him.
She alleged that the lawyer travelled to Turkey without informing members of the team while Justice Crack remained in DSS custody.
Explaining the situation, he said:
“Barrister marshal refused to give us the bail application he filed, we called and called but he didn’t respond, only to see on the internet that he has travelled to Turkey to enjoy and he didn’t inform us. He left us in the dark and justice crac k was in the hands of DSS. we had to get another lawyer that helped us get today’s date and he just appeared in court just like that. If we were still waiting for him, we would have had to wait for another 3 weeks for justice crack’s hearing.”
The statement adds another layer to the growing controversy that has rocked Justice Crack’s legal battle in recent days, following Barrister Marshall’s withdrawal from the case after a disagreement with members of the defence team.
The courtroom drama has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing confusion over the conflicting narratives emerging from both sides.
