Tulsi Gabbard has reportedly resigned as US President Donald Trump’s director of national intelligence, according to multiple US media reports.

CNBC, citing a White House official and a senior administration official, reported that Gabbard informed Trump during an Oval Office meeting on Friday that she would step down from the Cabinet.

According to CNBC and earlier reporting by Fox News, Gabbard’s last working day is expected to be June 30.
Gabbard currently serves as Director of National Intelligence (DNI), a role that oversees and coordinates the US intelligence community.

No official reason for her resignation was immediately disclosed.
