Nigerian aide to music star Davido, Israel DMW, has spoken on elections in Nigeria.
On his Instagram page, he said winning an election in Nigeria isn’t determined by popular opinion on social media but by the highest number of votes cast on election day.
Israel said he would rather pick a waybill for a friend in Warri than to vote for APC in 2027.
“Winning an election in Nigeria isn’t by popular opinions on social media. It is by the highest votes cast on an election day. I would rather pick a waybill for a friend in Warri than vote for APC in 2027. Nonsense”.

Actress, Iheme Nancy, had read the riot act to family and friends who are supporting President Tinubu for re-election in 2027. She dissociated herself from such people, telling them their IQs are negative and that they should avoid her, as they are dangerous.
Similarly, Yvonne Jegede had lashed out at Tinubu’s supporters, calling them kidnappers, killers, hooligans, and corrupt individuals. She admonished them to deal with their conscience.
The logistics manager wrote a message to Nigerians, admonishing them to wait until they were announced as winners in any election. He stated that one should learn to concede defeat and accept the winner as announced.
Last year, after the Apex court dismissed Edo State gubernatorial candidate, Asue Ighodalo’s petition to annul Monday Okpebholor’s declaration as the winner of the September 2023 election, because it lacked merit.
Reacting to the court’s ruling, Israel shared a photo of Ighodalo receiving anointing from a clergyman, as he made him know that anointing doesn’t win elections in Nigeria.
Israel called on the Governor of Edo State, Okpebholo, to resign with immediate effect. He noted that the state hasn’t had peace since he took over and claimed that the ancestors were angry with him over the pure robbery in the state. Israel urged him to hand over to his opponent, Asue Ighadalo, whom he believed the most Edolites voted for as their Governor.
In 2024, during the Edo State gubernatorial election, Davido questioned the police directive for Edo citizens, as he declared the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) the most dangerous institution in Nigeria and admonished Edo indigenes not to bow to it.
Explaining to those who queried him for interfering in the election, he revealed that his mother is from Edo and, as such, he was interested in the election.
